  11. mathX is a math program for Amiga.
  12.  
  13. Feature overview:

  15.   * 2D function plots with an optional 2nd parameter
  16.   * 3D function plots, SIRDS-"Magic3D"-plots
  17.   * Formal derivatives and simplifications
  18.   * Calculation of integrals
  19.   * Creation of tangents
  20.   * Power series expansion using Taylor formula
  21.   * Discuss functions: search for zeros, extrema, turning points,
  22.     symmetry, value tables
  23.   * Determinant and inverse of a matrix
  24.   * Solve linear systems
  25.   * Characteristical polynom of a matrix
  26.  
  27. mathX calculates symbolically using rational numbers if possible.
  28. It has a very comfortable graphical user interface featuring
  29. drag'n'drop, bubble-and online help. The program has got an
  30. ARexx port, install script and is localized to English, German,
  31. French, Dutch, Czech, Italiano.

  33. mathX is shareware and sometimes opens nerv-requesters, but is
  34. not crippled.

  36. Mimimum system requirements: AmigaOS 2.0, MUI 3.3 and 2MB RAM.

  38. Changes from Version 1.20b:
  39.  
  40.   * New matrix tools window with a nice matrix input field
  41.     and some new matrix operations. It replaces the three
  42.     old matrix windows.
  43.   * New '>' and '<' operators.
  44.     Removed 'rang' because it did not work well.
  45.   * Fixed bug in parser that froze mathX after entering
  46.     an incorrect term with the ":=" operator.
  47.   * Definitions got lost under certain circumstances. This
  48.     caused for example a flat 3D graph when drawing one
  49.     of the form() demo-functions.
  50.   * Intern: made two minimal changes in Term display for
  51.             debugging.
